I thought "Immediate Family" includes siblings!!!
I think it's bad moral practice that FMLA does not include a younger brother that is dying of cancer. Why do some companies find it in their grasp to only highlight the fact that it does not include siblings?
This country and it's employers need to re-visit this!!!!!

Dear Mr. Hodson,

There are bills pending before Congress that would add siblings, in-laws, grandparents, and just plain other dependents to the FMLA. Then candidate Obama favored expansion of the FMLA. I suspect that the FMLA will be expanded to cover additional family members in the next year or two.
